Dr. St. John completed his Family Medicine training at Methodist Charlton in Dallas, TX. Following service as Chief Resident, he continued his training in Geriatric Medicine at UT Southwesternin Dallas. Dr. St.John has practiced in the New Orleans area since 2017 and currently serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine, teaching the skills necessary to provide the level of care that should be expected for the geriatric population.
He spends most of his days providing direct patient care and working to find ways to improve the system as a leader in his field. He is devoted to understanding the complexities that accompany aging and end of life care. Dr. St. John currently serves as Medical Director of a local hospice agency as well as in many of the facilities in which he provides care. Dr. St John’s wife is also a physician and they have 2 small children that keep them very busy! As an avid home cook, he is still in disbelief (and despair!) that he developed a shellfish allergy only after moving to Louisiana.
